A Jewellery Workshop Rooted in Language, Love, and Ancestral Memory 

After a powerful debut at the International Arts Biennale, we’re bringing this workshop home — to Oman, where it all began. 

This is more than a jewellery workshop — it’s a journey of self-discovery and cultural reclamation. For me, it began with a deep feeling of not belonging. That ache led me to wander through books, ruins, and the wild landscapes of Dhofar. It was there, nestled in stone and silence, that I stumbled upon the Musnad script — the ancient South Arabian alphabet. 

In a world dominated by English and shaped by borrowed narratives, I found healing in uncovering the depth of our own history. The Musnad script reminded me that our ancestors held great wisdom, beauty, and knowledge — stories written not just in books, but in the land itself. 

This workshop is my way of sharing that discovery with you — an invitation to reconnect with our roots through intention, creativity, and love. 

What will you learn? 

You’ll be introduced to the Musnad alphabet, its history, and cultural significance. Then, you’ll choose silver letter charms — either your own initials, those of a loved one, or the Arabic word "حب" (love) — and craft your own meaningful amulet. 

Who is this for? 

Anyone curious about identity, heritage, ancient alphabets, or intentional jewellery-making. No prior experience needed — just an open heart.
